Only you know the answer to these questions.Īuthor, Book-Writing Coach, & Founder of Journey Written®️ Will you remain silent or are you going to take on your royal position? Is now the best time for you to write your story? What are going to do with your “such a time as this?” So we look at this bible verse, we look at Queen Esther, and we realize that during our life, we are prepared for times where we have to show up, but not only show up for ourselves but also show up for others. It will give them the strength to know that they too can overcome, that there is a way out, and that they are not alone. The story behind your courage to show up is going to help someone else show up. The story behind your strength to keep pushing through is going to help someone else push through. Just like Queen Esther’s story has impacted so many of us - know that your courage, your story, your testimony, and your boldness will do the same and impact someone. So what does Queen Esther's story have to do with sharing and writing your story? With her decision to move forward in faith and courage, she had faith in God and the work that He has done to prepare her for “such a time as this.” Reflecting over her life, she probably thought everything that she had been through beforehand prepared her for this specific moment. As you read through her story you see that she first feels a sense of helplessness because she knows that she cannot approach the king without being summoned, but that all changes when she knows she has to show up to save her people. I can only imagine her body language and the thoughts in her head as she was thinking about this specific moment. A decision to either be silent or speak up, a choice to back down or get up. She is beautiful and highly favored but in chapter 4 verse 14 she is called to make a bold decision. What I love about Queen Esther is her Bravery, Courage, & Obedience. "In the biblical book named after her, Esther is a young Jewish woman living in the Persian diaspora who finds favor with the king, becomes queen, and risks her life to save the Jewish people from destruction when the court official Haman persuades the king to authorize a pogrom against all the Jews of the empire." In risking her life she had to make a decision. Today on the blog we will be focused on Esther and why now may be your “such a time as this.” and the best time for you to share and write your story.

And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14: “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish.
